Ammar Aziz is a Pakistani Film-maker, documentarian, Musician and a Left-wing activist. Belonging to a notable family of Writers and Poets, he is also known, in many literary gatherings, as a contemporary ghazal poet. Being a member of the Communist Party of Pakistan, his works strongly depict the element of Class Struggle. Some of his films follow Marxist film theory. After studying from the Government College University, Lahore, he is currently doing his graduation in Film-making from the National College of Arts (NCA), Lahore.
