The American Samoa national soccer team is the national team of American Samoa and is controlled by Football Federation American Samoa. It is one of the weakest teams in the world, and holds the distinction of suffering the largest loss in international football history, having been defeated by Australia 31–0 on April 11, 2001. American Samoa's weakness is due to both its small population and the popularity of American football, baseball and basketball.

American Samoa has never won a FIFA-sanctioned match. The team has only recorded one victory in its history over Wallis and Futuna in 1983, when neither team was a member of FIFA (Wallis and Futuna Islands still is not).

In the current FIFA ranking, it is joint last of all countries registered for full internationals.

Ramin Ott made history for American Samoa when scoring a penalty goal against Solomon Islands on August 25, 2007. The goal was American Samoa's first ever in an official World Cup qualifying fixture and proved to be American Samoa's only goal of a 2010 qualifying campaign which saw them lose all four of their matches with an aggregate score of 39 goals to 1. Their 0–4 defeat in their final qualifying fixture against Tonga ranks as their best World Cup qualifying result to date. The 39 goals conceded were the most let in by any team at the South Pacific Games. American Samoa have never had a draw, having either won or lost all of their matches.
