Amerika Esperantista Asocio, a national Esperanto association, was formed by Boston Esperantists in March 1905. Publication of the association's magazine Amerika Esperantista Revuo began in January 1907. Meanwhile, in October 1906, Arthur Baker had founded the magazine Amerika Esperantisto[1] in Oklahoma City. It was a publication of the American Esperantist Company, publisher and vendor of Esperanto materials, dedicated to the promotion of Esperanto. In 1908 at its first national convention, in Chautauqua, New York, the Amerika Esperantista Asocio was renamed to Esperantista Asocio de Norda Ameriko (EANA). Publication of Amerika Esperantista Revuo ceased and Amerika Esperantisto became its official organ. With the decline of the EANA and rise of the Esperanto League for North America during the 1950s, Amerika Esperantisto eventually ceased publication. Editors: Arthur Baker and Ivy Kellerman; J. J. Süssmuth en 1933. [edit] External links
