Amanda McGill (born March 21, 1980) is a member of the Nebraska Legislature from Lincoln, Nebraska.

Born in Omaha, she graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2002.

While earning her degree from UNL, McGill was a member of Cornhusker Forensics (Speech and Debate team) for four years. Her senior year she was elected team president and was a national finalist in persuasive speaking.

She was a television reporter for KOLN and communications director for the Nebraska Democratic Party.

She was elected to the Legislature in 2006 serving Nebraska's 26th legislative district and serives on the Business and Labor Judiciary and Urban Affairs committees.
