Allison Miller (born September 2, 1985) is an American actress. She is best known for her role as Michelle Benjamin on the NBC series Kings.
[edit] Early lifeMiller was born in Rome, Italy. She grew up in Lexington, Kentucky, State College, Pennsylvania, and Tallahassee, Florida. She is the daughter of Margo and John Winn Miller.[1] Her father John was the former publisher of The Olympian newspaper in Olympia, Washington.[2] He retired in January 2009 to pursue other interests. Her parents have since left Washington and moved back to the Eastern United States. Miller graduated from Maclay High School in Tallahassee, Florida. She attended the University of Florida in Gainesville for a few semesters before transferring to Rhodes College. She is a sister of Kappa Delta Sorority and was featured in a story in Kappa Delta's newsletter The Angelos. In 2006, Miller moved to Hollywood to pursue her career full-time. In addition to acting, she has training in voice, tap, and jazz, as well as in modern dance. She is a mezzo-soprano. Allison also plays the piano and the guitar. She is proficient in Spanish and French.[3] [edit] CareerMiller started her career as member of the Young Actor's Theatre in Tallahassee, Fla. She appeared as Nora in the play Brighton Beach Memoirs for the theatre. The actress was one of eight actresses chosen as finalists to play Laurie in the 2004 VH-1 reality show In Search of the New Partridge Family in 2004.[4] She appeared on television again in Lucy's Piano (2006). She then guest starred in episodes of television series such as General Hospital, CSI: NY, Desperate Housewives, and Boston Legal. Miller appeared as a series regular on the NBC television drama series, Kings, which was based on the biblical story of David.[5][6] She portrayed Princess Michelle Benjamin, an analogue of Michal (daughter of Saul and first wife of David). Miller appeared in two 2009 films: a live action version of Blood: The Last Vampire; and 17 Again, where she played Zac Efron's high school girlfriend Scarlett. [edit] Filmography
