Allen Willard Engel, (born October 20, 1932) was a Canadian provincial politician. He was the NDP member of the Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan for the constituencies of Notukeu-Willow Bunch, from 1971 until 1975, and Assiniboia-Gravelbourg, from 1978 until 1986. He defeated Liberal incumbent Roy Edgar Nelson in the 1978 general election, and served for two terms first in Government and then in Opposition. In 1982, he defeated Liberal candidate, and future federal Minister of Finance Ralph Goodale, but then lost in 1986 after Goodale became the leader of the Saskatchewan Liberal Party.

Allen Engel's primary interests were in agriculture and rural transportation. He served as the Legislative Secretary to the Minister of Agriculture for 1978 - 1982, and Agriculture Critic from 1982 - 1986.

Allen Engel was one of several Saskatchewan Mennonite MLAs. Others include:
