Allen Covert (born October 13, 1964) is an American comedian and actor.

Covert was born in West Palm Beach, Florida and educated at New York University, where he was a classmate of Adam Sandler. Now a longtime friend of Sandler, Covert frequently writes for Sandler's comedy albums and films. He's a familiar face to Sandler fans, having appeared in most of his movies:

• The bartender in Going Overboard
• Sandler's homeless caddy, Otto, in Happy Gilmore (1996)
• Sandler's best friend and town limousine driver in The Wedding Singer (1998)
• Sandler's gay friend in Big Daddy (1999)
• Nicky's roommate in the movie Little Nicky (2000). For the role, Covert gained 40 pounds and shaved his hairline to reflect the character.
• The lecherous nerdy journalist in Mr. Deeds (2002)
• Braggart romantic rival in Anger Management (2003), a film for which he was also executive producer
• Short-term memory loss patient, 10-Second Tom, in 50 First Dates (2004)
• Grandma's Boy (2006), as Alex, for Sandler's Happy Madison production company, his first starring role

Covert also had a brief role in a King Of Queens television episode that Sandler and friend, Peter Dante, was also a guest-star on as well as an episode where he was the towel guy.

Covert cameoed alongside Sandler in an episode of the short lived, but highly critically acclaimed comedy by Judd Apatow, Undeclared, in "The Assistant" episode.

Covert is also one of the screenwriters for the Happy Madison production The Benchwarmers, which was released April 7, 2006.

Covert is married to Kathryn Covert and has two children.
