Major General Sir Allan Henry Shafto Adair, 6th Baronet GCVO, CB, DSO, MC & Bar (3 November 1897 in London – 4 August 1988) was a British Army general. During World War II he commanded Guards Armoured Division from 12 September 1942 until the end of the war. He was Mentioned in Despatches four times during his military career.
