Ali Benouna (born July 23, 1912 in Chlef, Algeria-died November 6, 1980 in Alger, Algeria) was a former French-Algerian professional football player. He was the first Algerian and North African to play in France, playing for FC Sète and Stade Rennais in the 1930's.[1][2][3]

He was also the first Algerian and North African to play for the French National Team, making his debut on February 9, 1936, in a 3-0 friendly loss against Czechoslovakia.[4] He would make his second and last appearance on March 8, 1936 in a 3-0 friendly win against Belgium.[5]
