Alex Kent (January 7, 1986) is the bass guitarist of the band Say Anything. He was the bassist in the now defunct Lance's Hero. He also owns Gnome Records, a record company that released Japandi's debut album, The Great Dinosaur Mystery, BoomSnake's "Give and Take" on 12" vinyl, and Snuffaluffagus's "Animals EP" digitally and on a 7". Alex went to Torrey Pines and Future's High Schools and graduated with a GED. He is divorced and resides in Portland, Oregon. He released two songs on his Myspace page, titled "Fariy Pinball" and "Your Art Sucks, Dude" off of an album/book titled "Hey god, it's me Alex. I have some questions and I want some god-damned answers." He toured on a solo project from May 9 to May 15 2008 on the West Coast.
