Alex Carrington (born June 19, 1987 in Tupelo, Mississippi) is a college football defensive lineman with the Arkansas State Red Wolves of Arkansas State University. He was named the Sun Belt defensive player of the year following the 2008 season after he made 10.5 sacks and 19 tackles for loss in 12 games.^[1] In January 2009, Carrington was ranked 55th out of the top 100 returning players in college football in 2009 by College Football News.^[2]

Carrington attended Tupelo High School in his hometown of Tupelo, Mississippi.^[3]
