[edit] Highway 41A

Alberta Highway 41A.svg

Since Highway 41 bypasses the city of Medicine Hat, intersecting with the Trans-Canada Highway a few miles to the east, a spur route, Highway 41A, was constructed providing a more direct route into the city for traffic coming off 41. The short route branches off the main highway 7 km north of the Trans-Canada and runs approximately 12 km, winding through Medicine Hat and terminating at a junction with Hwy. 1 and Hwy. 3 west of the downtown.
