El-Masry is an Egyptian football club based in Port Said. (Arabic): النادي المصري. The club plays in the Egyptian Premier League. The team began its Golden Era in 1932 until 1948 and won a number of titles and succeeded during this period to win the Egyptian Cup in 1933 and 1934 and 1937 and reached the final match and lost in 1927 and 1930 , 1945 and 1947.

El-Masry are arguably the only Egyptian club to turn professional in the 1983-1984 season and were from the first clubs to buy foreign players, the players brought were Iranians and were Port Qasim and Abd al-Rida Brzkri and who led the team that season to reach the Cup final in Egypt before losing the match to Al-Ahly (1-3). Thanks to Egyptian legend Hossam Hassan's as manager in the second half of the 2007-2008, the club managed to avoid relegation and now Hassan seeks to prove himself and the club and build on the success of last season.
