Alípio Duarte Brandão (born December 18, 1992 in Brasília) is a Brazilian football player who currently plays for Real Madrid Juvenil A in the División de Honor.
[edit] Early yearsAlipio left Brazil as a 14 year old orphan who came to Portugal with his legal guardian, Helber Damiao, co-owner of the football school "Two Touches". Alipio has his rights split three ways between his guardian Damiao, the Portuguese club Rio Ave, and his original Brazilian club, Internacional. [1] [edit] Club careerAlipio joined Real Madrid from Portuguese side Rio Ave in November 2008 for roughly €1.4million. [2] Alípio scored two goals on his debut for Real Madrid C, and has now made the move to Real Madrid Castilla. [3] Alipio's agent also represents Cristiano Ronaldo, funnily enough Alipio has been dubbed the "Little Ronaldo", but after the Brazilian 2002 World Cup hero Ronaldo. [4] Alipio scored on his debut for Castilla in a friendly match against the Real Madrid first team in February of 2009. [5] Alipio made his official debut for Castilla on the 15th of February 2009 against Águilas CF. He was an 87th minute substitute for Miguel Palanca. He became the youngest player to do so in the history of the subsidiary.[6] During the ten minutes Alipio played in that game, he impressed spectators and his coaches alike with his ball skills.
