Ajjada (Telugu: అజ్జాడ) is a village in Balijipeta mandal, Vizianagaram district of Andhra Pradesh, India. It has a population of 2,700 with male:female ratio of 1:1 and 40% literacy rate. It is the birthplace of Telugu Harikatha Pithamahaa Ajjada Adibhatla Narayana Dasu,educationists like Adibhatla Narasimha Murthy, Adibhatla Visweswara Rao. Shri Rama Rao Ayyalasomayajula and Adibhatla Narasimha Murthy (Best Teacher award winner)were worked as Head Master of the Zilla Parishad High School, Ajjada. They have spent their whole life not only in educating/nourishing the students but also educated the local populace. The village is on the banks of the river Suvarnamukhi, that flows from the hills of Makkuva. The route to reach this village is via a now concerete road along the bank of this river, off of National Highway 5. The villages of Krishnarayapuram (referred to in Kanyashulkam), Muragadam, Charakarapalli are also in proximity to this village.
