Air Gabon International was a planned airline to be based in Libreville, Gabon. It was announced in February 2006 to replace the bankrupt Gabonese government owned national carrier Air Gabon. Services were never launched^[1].

The airline was a proposed joint venture between Royal Air Maroc and the government of Gabon. Services were expected to begin in spring 2006, but the launch has been subject to delays and now has been shelved^[1]. Its first aircraft was scheduled to arrive on June 1, 2006.

Route authority for the planned airline were transferred to a new, privately owned airline, Gabon Airlines, in 2007 ending plans for Air Gabon International. ^[2]
