Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Kijo is an Indian television series based on the story of a young girl who is fighting with poverty to support her family.^[1] Written, produced and directed by Kiran Bedi, the series premiered on March 16, 2009, and will air every Monday - Thursday at 9:30pm IST on Zee TV.^[2] The series stars Ratan Rajput as Laali in the main lead, & Aditya Lakhia of Lagaan fame as Laali's father.^[3] Besides, the series replaced the long running soap opera Kasamh Se of Zee TV, which was produced by Balaji Telefilms. This show is created and produced by Siddharth Kumar Tewary of Swastik Pictures.

Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Kijo is about a poor girl named Laali who lives in small village in India with her mother, father, sisters and brother. She goes through many trials to survive, without much money, helping her family as much as she can. Meanwhile an evil man named Balli goes around her poor village offering money in return for beautiful girls. He is desperate to get Laali and he finally does. Laali is sold off to a rich Thakur by her mother. Laali enters a new household where she has been brought for a purpose, to give an heir to this family.
