Affeltrangen is a municipality in the district of Münchwilen in the canton of Thurgau in Switzerland.
It was first recorded in 779 as Affaltrawangas.
The municipality also contained the villages Bollsteg, Isenegg, Kreuzegg, Nägelishub and Rüti. It had 437 inhabitants in 1850, which decreased to 406 in 1900. It then went up and down to 518 in 1910 and 467 in 1941, before rising to 671 in 1970 and 773 in 1990. Its territory was enlarged in 1995 as it incorporated the neighboring municipalities of Buch bei Märwil, Märwil and Zezikon.
