[edit] Accidents and incidents

• On 20 February 2009, an Antonov 12 crashed after an engine caught fire on take-off at Luxor International Airport, Egypt. All five crew were killed.^[3]

• On March 9, 2009 an Ilyushin 76 crashed in Lake Victoria just after takeoff from Entebbe Airport, Uganda. All 11 occupants were killed.
