Addams Family Reunion is the third movie of The Addams Family series, released straight-to-video in 1998. It was also distributed to television by Fox Family. There are no plans for a fourth film. So far, the film is only available on VHS and hasn't had a DVD release. It was shot in Los Angeles, California. Uncle Fester's surname was changed back to Frump in this motion picture. [edit] PlotDiscovering that his grandparents have developed "Waltzheimer's disease", Gomez organises a family reunion, hoping that some branch of his enormous family tree will find a cure. Unfortunately, the company arranging the reunion misspells his surname and reunites him with the Adams family instead, including Dr. Philip Adams (Ed Begley, Jr.) who plans to poison his father and re-arrange his will. Gomez hopes that Dr. Adams can cure his grandparents; Morticia spends time with the women; Fester and Thing do their best to capture Butcher, a mutated puppy who feeds on human hair; and Pugsley falls in love with a girl named Gina. [edit] CastMany of the cast members from the previous movies did not return for this installment. Raul Julia had passed away due to a stroke (which was why an earlier attempt to film a third Addams Family movie had been abandoned), Carol Kane, Anjelica Huston and Christopher Lloyd declined, and Christina Ricci and Jimmy Workman (both aged 18 at the time) were considered too old to continue playing the children. In the end, only Carel Struycken and Christopher Hart reprised their roles.
