Adam Kwasnik (born 31 May 1983 in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia) is an Australian football (soccer) player. He currently plays as a striker for the Australian A-League club the Central Coast Mariners.
[edit] Club careerKwasnik was scorer of the 200th goal in the Hyundai A-League on January 20, 2006. He is starting to show his potential by scoring 7 goals and two assists in the 06/07 season from 19 starts. 'Kwas', as he is known to team mates and fans alike, is equal with Sasho Petrovski on the Mariners all-time leading goalscorers list with 14 goals. He also has his own superstition of training with one sock around his ankle and the other pulled up to his knee. Lawrie McKinna has coached many teams whilst in Australia, Kwas has been in every one of those teams, until he made the decision to move the Wellington Phoenix. After a disappointing season at the Phoenix, Kwasnik signed on February 9 2009 with his former club Central Coast Mariners for the upcoming 2009 AFC Champions League and also for the 2009/2010 A-League season.[1] [edit] HonoursWith Central Coast Mariners: [edit] References
