Denny Almonte (born on September, 24, 1988 in Miami, Florida) is a professional baseball player. He was drafted in the second round of the 2007 Major League Baseball Draft by the Seattle Mariners. He attended Florida Christian School.

Almonte began his professional career with the Rookie-Level Peoria Mariners in 2007. He batted .161 with two doubles, one triples and six RBIs. He was transferred to the Short-Season Everett AquaSox on August 31. At seasons end Almonte participated in the Arizona Fall League.

In 2008 Almonte spent the entire season with the Class-A Wisconsin Timber Rattlers of the Midwest League. He hit .249 with 20 doubles, seven triples, 10 home runs and 51 RBIs in 100 games. He again participated in the Arizona Fall League at seasons end.

He spent the 2009 season with the Class-A Clinton Lumber Kings. In 108 games, Almote hit .232 with 23 doubles, five triples, 13 home runs and 58 RBIs. He was selected to the Midwest League Mid-Season All-Star Team and competed in the home run derby.[1]

Steven P. Baron (born December 7, 1990(1990-12-07) in Miami, Florida) is a professional baseball catcher who plays in the Seattle Mariners organization. He was drafted in the first round, 33rd pick overall, of the 2009 Major League Baseball Draft. He attended Ferguson High School.

He is said to have good bat speed but timing issues, average power, good speed for a catcher, average baseruning skills, and good fielding skills.[2]

In his first professional season, 2009, Baron played for the Rookie-Level Pulaski Mariners of the Appalachian League. He batted .179 with 19 hits, six doubles, two home runs and 13 RBIs in 30 games.

He began his professional career in 2008 with the Rookie-Level Peoria Mariners, appearing in 15 games, two starts. He earned a win in first career appearance on June 24 against the AZL Rangers. He completed the season with a record of 1-3 with a 6.53 ERA and 23 strikeouts.

In 2009 Buckborough played for the Rookie-Level Pulaski Mariners. He went 2-0 with a 8.38 ERA and 16 strikeouts in 13 games.

Yao Wen Chang (born October 31, 1990(1990-10-31) in Taichung, Taiwan) is a professional baseball pitcher in the Seattle Mariners organization. He was signed as a non-drafted free agent on November, 5 2007.

Chang began his career in 2008 with the Rookie-Level Peoria Mariners of the Arizona League. He went 0-2 with a 5.75 ERA and 18 strikeouts in 15 games.

In 2009 Chang pitched for both the Rookie-Level Peoria Mariners and the Rookie-Level Pulaski Mariners. He pitched one game for Peoria and gave up 10 runs in 413 innings. With Palaski Chang went 0-6 with a 5.89 ERA in 13 games, nine starts.

In 2009 Contreras split the season between the Peoria Mariners and the Class-A Clinton LumberKings of the Midwest League. He hit a combined .375 with eight doubles, one triples, two home runs and 15 RBIs in 25 games.

He is said to have solid base running, average speed, average arm strength, good hitting ability, and the potential for some power.[6] Franklin attended Lake Brantley High School.

Haveman earned two letters in baseball at Zeeland High School where he hit .478 as a junior and .358 during his senior season.

He attended Lake Michigan College for his freshman and sophomore year. He earned all-conference, all-region and all-America honors as a freshman while hitting .470 with eight doubles and five triples. He was also selected to the all-conference team as a sophomore, hitting .378 with 12 doubles, five triples and two home runs.

Haveman transfered to Purdue University where he was a redshirt junior. As a senior he earned a Second Team All-Big Ten selection. He appeared in 57 games, making 55 starts and batted a team-high .379 with 16 doubles, five triples, two home runs, 24 RBIs, 12 stolen bases and 60 runs scored. Haveman led the team in triples, steals and runs, while tying for the team lead in doubles.

In 2009 Haveman began his professional career with the Rookie-Level Pulaski Mariners. He batted .339 with 59 hits, nine doubles, four triples, five home runs and 18 RBIs. He led the team in batting average.
