Adam Gino Bernero (born November 28, 1976 in Los Gatos, California) is a retired Major League Baseball pitcher. Bernero has pitched in the majors for the Detroit Tigers, Colorado Rockies, Atlanta Braves, Philadelphia Phillies, Kansas City Royals. He has a career record of 11-27. Bernero was a member of the 2003 Detroit Tigers, a team which compiled one of the worst records in major league history. Before being traded in mid-season, he had won a single game and lost 12, with an ERA of 6.08. Bernero signed with the Boston Red Sox for the 2007 season but missed the entire season after undergoing Tommy John surgery on March 1, 2007.[1] In January 2008, he signed a minor league contract with the Pittsburgh Pirates.
