The Ace was an American-assembled car made in Ypsilanti, Michigan by Apex Motor Corp., which emphasized "square" coachwork lines. It was built between 1920 and 1922, and used Continental and Herschell-Spillman six-cylinder engines, as well as a Gray four. The company was taken over in 1922 by the American Motor Truck Co.
