Abu al-Aswad Al-Du'ali (Arabic: أبو الأسود الدؤلي‎) (c.603-688) was a close companion of Imam Ali and grammarian. he was the first to place dots on the Arabic Words and the first to write on Arabic linguistics[1], he educated many students[2].
