Abdallah Guennoun (Born in 1908 in Fès - died 9 July 1989 in Tanger) was a famous, and influential Moroccan essayist.[1] In 1927 and 1928 he wrote a book called " An Nubûgh Al Maghribi " (The genius of Morocco, three volumes) where he assesses the excellence of Moroccan literature and philosophy. Guennoun taught at the universities of Cairo, Damascus, Bagdad, and Amman.
