[edit] Plot

Ganesh (Venkatesh) is from a middle-class family. He makes several bids to obtain employment, but in vain due to his poor language skills and inadequate educational qualifications. All his friends settle in life, but he continues to struggle to secure employment. Ganesh has two good friends, Vasu (Sriram) and another friend (Sunil). His father (Kota Srinivasa Rao) who was a teacher, always chides him for being an irresponsible person. This just adds to his woes.

At this juncture, Ganesh catches a glimpse of Keerthi (Trisha Krishnan) and it is love at first sight for him. He learns that she works for a software solutions firm. Luckily for him, Ganesh finally secures employment in the same firm. Keerthi is a short-tempered young woman. Once, Ganesh accompanies her along with two other colleagues (Jeeva and Vinay Prasad) to Australia. Here he reveals his feelings for her. She refuses him, saying that she came from an orthodox family and her marriage was arranged with her cousin.

A depressed Ganesh returns to India. Unable to bear seeing his son so despondent, his father meets Keerti. She abuses him for recommending his son's love and accidentally slaps both Ganesh and his father. That night, Ganesh's father dies of a heart attack. In order to help lighten Ganesh's mood, Vasu takes him to his house. Keerthi happens to be the cousin Vasu is to marry. However, their grandfather's (K. Viswanath) thought of getting them married early are put aside because Vasu and Keerthi leave the house to seek their own identities. This aggravates the grandfather.

After a couple of years, the parents of Keerthi and Vasu decide to have them marry to appease their grandfather. After several events, Keerthi realizes that she was in love with Ganesh. Ganesh asks her to forget him because he believes that it would create problems in their happy family. Vasu's grandfather notices them conversing and admonishes Keerthi for bringing disrepute to their family and asks Ganesh to leave his house. Finally, everyone realizes that the two are deeply in love and unites them.
