"A Daze Of Wine And Roaches" is the nineteenth episode in the third season of the American crime drama CSI: NY. The episode first aired on March 21, 2007. [edit] PlotA part-time French translator, Simone de Lille, working for a UN diplomat in the US is found dead at a French Revolution-themed fundraiser. The CSI team arrive and Sheldon notices a substance on the woman's mouth. As they investigate the scene, Inspector Gerrard tells Mac that they have been told not to touch the body until the French consulate gives them the go-ahead, much to the team's disgust. Sheldon is especially worried as the poison could morph and compromise the evidence. Mac, Stella and Don now have to get around the red tape in order to find out who or what really killed Simone. Danny and Lindsay investigate the murder of a famous chef found in his wine cellar "screwed to death" with a corkscrew. To their shock, a Madagascar hissing beetle suddenly emerges from the dead man's mouth. They find a woman's fingernail belonging to the Alec's ex-wife. Lindsay discovers that he had confronted his retailer when sold fake expensive wines. [edit] See also[edit] External links
