ASUIsTalking.com is the first in a series of social networking websites launched by IsTalking, a company founded by Anthony Conti and professional baseball player Luis Gonzalez. The sites are targeted towards specific colleges^[1] and are not global websites like several other social networking sites on the internet.^[2] ASUIsTalking works exclusively with the Arizona State University alumni and student email addresses, which are required in order to activate an account.^[1]

Through a recent partnership with Jobing.com, IsTalking has opened an application that allows its users a way to search for local and national job opportunities as well.^[3] In addition, the founders of the site created a way to localize and simplify the social networking platform for students and alumni.^[4]
