AFL Canberra is an Australian rules football league in the Australian Capital Territory that is currently affiliated with AFL NSW/ACT.

The league is the largest Australian rules football competition in the ACT. It is also considered to be one of the strongest Australian rules football competitions in the New South Wales region (where Australian Rules is not as popular). With the proximity to Sydney and quality of opposition, the AFL's Sydney Swans have participated fielding a reserves side, but also dominated the competition.

AFL Canberra was once a very popular local league, however since the introduction of the Swans and matches featuring AFL clubs being played at Manuka Oval, the league's home ground, and the growth of local rugby union, rugby league and Association football competitions, AFL Canberra has experienced the loss of clubs and spectator support.
