ABD is the Australian Broadcasting Corporation's television station in Darwin, Northern Territory. The station was the first to go to air in Darwin, on August 13, 1971. Its studios are located in the inner city of Darwin, with analog transmitter on Blake Street and digital transmitter on Deloraine Road. The station is received throughout the territory through a number of relay transmitters, as well as by satellite on the Optus Aurora platform.

ABD follows a schedule similar to the ABC's state-wide stations, opting out regularly for local news, current affairs and sport programming.

The nightly 7pm state news bulletin ABC News Northern Territory is presented by Michael Coggan on weeknights and Margie Smithurst on weekends. The weeknight bulletins also incoprorate national finance and sport segements presented by Alan Kohler in Melbourne and Peter Wilkins in Sydney respectively.

Stateline Northern Territory, is a weekly current affairs program broadcast at 7:30pm on Friday nights and presented by Margie Smithurst.

ABD also airs live coverage of Northern Territory Football League matches every Saturday afternoon during the season and the grand final of the Tiwi Islands Football League, simulcast nationally with ABC2.
