3-2-1 Penguins! is a series of Christian animated cartoons launched on November 14th, 2000 for the direct-to-video market by Big Idea Productions, the makers of VeggieTales.[1]

The direct-to-video series held the top spot on the Soundscan kid video sales charts for its first 18 weeks of release[2] and has sold 1.5 million videos to date.[3][unreliable source?]

After a four year hiatus, Big Idea began production on twenty new episodes to air as part of the Qubo block on NBC, Ion and Telemundo, beginning October 4th, 2007.[4].

  • Jason T. Conrad - Michelle's twin brother. He wears glasses. His best friend is Trevor. Voiced by Mark Martin and Quinn Lord.
  • Michelle Frances Conrad - Jason's twin sister. She wears glasses, but doesn't like to wear them. Her doll's name is Miss Pretty Pretty. Voiced by Melissa Peterson and Claire Corlett.
  • Captain Zidgel - The captain of the Penguin crew. Elvis Presley impersonator. Voiced by Ron Wells and John Payne.
  • Engineer Midgel - The pilot of the Penguin crew. Voiced by Greg Mills and Paul Dobson.
  • Doctor Fidgel - The scientist of the Penguin crew. He resembles Jason and Michelle's grandpa, Grandmum's husband. Voiced by Page H. Hearn and Lee Tockar.
  • Kevin - No specific job, although he is a member of the Penguin crew. Voiced by Ron Smith, Michael Dobson (season 2) and Mike Donovan (season 3)
  • UFPS Rockhopper - This United Federation Penguin Starship is the vessel used to transport the other main characters to their many adventures.
