The UEFA Cup 2001-02 was won by Feyenoord Rotterdam at their home ground in the final against Borussia Dortmund. It was the second time they won the competition. This edition is also famous for the quarterfinal run of Israeli minnows Hapoel Tel Aviv, who beat several more established European clubs along the way.
